Pro Tips For Using This App Saily: eSIM + phone number

Saily is an essential eSIM app that travelers can download to get fast, reliable mobile data in over 200 destinations. Skip the shops, avoid roaming fees, and manage connectivity from your phone — all with a travel eSIM app you can install and activate in minutes. Download the app, choose a plan, and get online the moment you land!

What is an eSIM?

An eSIM (embedded SIM) is a digital SIM built into your device. It works like a physical SIM but doesn't require a plastic SIM card. You buy a plan in the Saily app, install the international eSIM, and connect to local networks wherever you travel.

Why download the Saily app?

• No roaming fees. Purchase prepaid eSIM data for international travel at transparent rates directly in the app.
• Wide coverage. Access travel internet in 200+ destinations by connecting your device to leading local networks.
• Fast app setup. Purchase, install, and activate your eSIM for travel using the app's guided installation flow.
• Keep your number. Saily eSIMs add a data profile to your phone settings, so your primary SIM stays active for calls and SMS.
• Flexible plans. Choose from local, regional, and global eSIM options in the digital store to match any itinerary.
• Top up instantly. Add more data in a few taps within the user interface. No contracts or long-term commitments.
• Manage via the app. Track usage, view validity, and purchase new eSIM plans as your route changes.
• In-app security. Optional security features help you browse safely. Set a virtual location, block ads, and enable web protection to avoid risky domains.
• Trusted origin. Built by the team behind NordVPN — a global leader in digital security software.

How the eSIM app works

1. Download the Saily eSIM application and check availability for your destination.
2. Select an eSIM data plan for your destination or region.
3. Install the eSIM by following the simple in-app guide.
4. Activate on arrival and connect to a local network using your international eSIM plan.

Stay connected while you travel! Stream videos, use maps, message, video call, and keep your mobile applications up to date without relying on public Wi-Fi.

Compatibility and support

Most recent Android devices support eSIM technology. The Saily app guides you through the digital setup with clear instructions. In-app support is available during installation, activation, and when switching eSIM plans between countries.

Dependable travel data made simple

Download the app, choose a mobile data plan that fits your trip, install your eSIM, and stay connected from the moment you land, with transparent pricing and no roaming surprises.

I got a Saily eSim for a recent trip, followed all the instructions. When I went to the app on arrival in foreign country, using a wifi connection, Saily would not recognize my login. Tried multiple restarts, and multiple wifi networks. I was left without data, or navigation, or any means of communicating with friends and family, and ended up using the daily international plan for my US wireless carrier instead. Nice idea, but unless the app is accessible in foreign country, it is useless.

Saily is horrible. I spend most of my time troubleshooting rather than using the service. When it does connect, speeds are slow and unreliable. I bought mobile data, not a part-time job in tech support. The most frustrating part is that the service failed while I was staying outside a major city. Because I couldn't get the connection working reliably, I have effectively been without internet access. My only option is to travel several hours to Guayaquil and buy new service.

For most people, unless you travel a lot for work, the majority of your data comes from free wifi connections. Yet, people still pay for expensive unlimited cell phone plans. Don't do that. Actually look at the source of your data. Combined with Google Voice, this service has essentially become my cell phone plan. I only need a little bit of data to fill in the gaps when I'm not connected to wifi. So my whole cell phone bill is $8/month and I have had no drop in quality of service.
